Shunderban is one of the largest mangrove forest in the world. This forest has a viable population of ‘Royal Bengal tiger’ at present. Because of cyclones like ‘Sydr’(2007) and ‘Aila’(2009) lots animals and sweet water ponds were destroyed and Tigers are not getting enough food and water to survive, which is one of the main reasons moving them out from their territory. In the south-west part of Bangladesh many people depends on Shunderban for living by collecting natural resources. These people are mostly killed by tiger attack. As a result, killing of tigers and humans are growing rapidly.
